DANA Alice Brings Chaos to Costa Blanca: Floods Hit Elche and Alicante

The Carrús neighborhood and industrial zone were among the hardest hit. Streets around Toscar Sports CenterMercadona, and Supeco became rivers of muddy water.

⚠️ Warnings and Safety Measures

  • The AEMET red alert covered much of the Alicante province, including the Vega Baja region.
  • Forecasts indicated up to 180 liters of rain per square meter within 12 hours, with possible thunderstorms and hail.
  • Authorities urged citizens to avoid driving, especially through underpasses and industrial zones.
